Bobby Bryant: Lead Guitar, Vocals
Bobby is a Vietnam veteran from West Virginia. Bobby has played in many bands up and down the East Coast including fronting some National Acts along the way. Loretta Lynn, Tex Ritter and many others. Bobby was the first lead guitarist for Griffin Lane in the late 90's. He lives in Williamsburg, Virginia with his wife and enjoys his music as well as his 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
Michael Gleason: Keyboards, Piano
Mike began his musical career at the age of 5 years old playing Boogie Woogie piano with this father. Mikes mother was also played a large part of his development finding him the finest instructors available. Mike has played with multiple bands throughout Virginia and decided to try Country and Blues. Griffin Lane is pleased to have Mike on board. Mike resides in Yorktown, Virginia with his family.
Steve Henry: Drums, Percussion
Steve Henry has been playing with Griffin Lane off and on from the beginning in 1993. Steve has a musical background that goes deep into Rock, Blues, Country and Big Band. Steve is most definitely one of the best drummers that Nancy and I have played with. Steve has a son named Lance and Steve resided in Yorktown, Virginia.
Joe Barlow: Pedal Steel Guitar, Banjo
Joe began his music career as a Banjo Picker in a Bluegrass band in Blacksburg, Va. He was a charter member of the Clay Griffin and Southern Tradition Band in 1984 and decided to pick up the Pedal Steel Guitar and self taught himself to become the accomplished musician that he is today. Joe performs in many bands throughout the Hampton Roads area and resides with his wife Shelley on their Cotton Plains Farm in Suffolk, Virginia.
Mike Ellis: Bass Guitar
Mike grew up near Smithfield, Virginia where in 1965 at the age of 15 was introduced to playing, singing and performing live music on stage. As a self taught bassist, Mike accomplished the ability to learn and laydown the baselines and rhythms of the numerous songs found throughout multiple musical genres. These music categories include and not limited to; country, classic rock n roll, soul, blues and oldies. Mike is a great addition to GLB!
